Josue Gomez Dominguez

Josue Gomez (Cheche) joins us from Xalapa, Mexico. He has been involved in the game for twenty years as a player first and then as a coach. During his playing career, he won several national and continental championships in North and South America. His highest world ranking was #314.

 

Josue’s coaching career started at an early age at his family’s squash academy in Veracruz, Mexico. In 2013, he became the head coach and director of the Veracruz’s Squash programs. He coached players that competed and represented Mexico in the Pan-American Junior Championships, US and British Open Tournaments as well as the Junior World Championships. Administratively, Josue is the vice president of the Veracruz Squash Association. In this role, he has helped increase participation in Veracruz in addition to promoting professional tournaments which attracted many international players.
