Nehemiah Crowder

Nehemia Crowder joined the Amherst College women's basketball program as an assistant coach for the 2018-19 season.

Crowder played semi-professional basketball for the past three years before turning to Amherst to kick-start his coaching career. He walked on for Hall of Famer Isaiah Thomas at Florida International University as a freshman, then played two years under Ty McGregor at Kirtland Community College, where he graduated with an Associate's in Arts. 

A 2009 graduate from the Academy for Business and Technology, Crowder was a National Honor Society member and a player on the 2009 MHSAA Class C State Champion basketball team.
