Tom Cronin '82 - Entrepreneur

Tom Cronin received his M.B.A. from MIT and his B.A. in Economics from Amherst College in 1982, where he was a member of the lacrosse and soccer teams. Tom went on to work for the Bank of New England and then as a consultant at Bain & Company. Tom’s career has focused primarily on entrepreneurial ventures, and following his stint at Bain & Company he went on to own and serve as CEO of CranBarry Inc., a sporting good manufacturer that he sold in 1999. Tom then spent three years teaching high school math at Lowell High School and coaching high school Varsity soccer. Most recently, Tom served as CEO of Neighborhood Diabetes, a company providing diabetes products to clients throughout the eastern United States. Tom Cronin currently serves as treasurer on the Board of Trustees for The Waynflete School, and independent day school located in Portland, Maine.
