Rebecca Lobo - Women's Basketball Analyst, Former UCONN and WNBA Player

Rebecca Lobo is one of the greatest female basketball players of all-time and still remains involved in the sport she loves as a WNBA and women’s college basketball analyst and reporter. Lobo played college basketball at the University of Connecticut, where as captain her senior year she helped lead the Huskies to a national championship and perfect record. During her time at UCONN, Lobo’s accomplishments extended well beyond the basketball court. In 1995, she was named Academic All-American of the Year in women’s basketball, was a Rhodes Scholar candidate and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. In 1996, Lobo earned a gold medal playing for the U.S. Women’s Basketball Olympic Team during the Summer Olympic Games. The following year marked the inaugural season of the Women’s National Basketball Association where Lobo was one of the first two women to be signed to the WBNA.  Lobo retired from professional basketball in 2003 and has since been inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
