Frank Isola has been covering the New York Knicks and the NBA for the New York Daily News since 1995. Over the years Frank has covered such personalities as Patrick Ewing, Jeff Van Gundy, Stephon Marbury and Carmelo Anthony. Frank currently serves as a host and analyst for SportsNet New York and The Starting Lineup on Sirius XM NBA Radio, and you may recognize him as a regular panelist on ESPN’s Around the Horn.
Frank Isola graduated in 1987 from the University of Maryland, where he was a member of the men’s soccer team and got his start at the New York Post covering high school and college sports, as well as the New Jersey Nets.
In 2010, Frank won a New York Sports Emmy award for his coverage of LeBron James’ free agency and was just recently named a 2014 National Sportscasters and Sportswriter Association Award Finalist
