A recent addition to the ESPN staff as Director of Production Analytics, Ben has a background working with a variety of NFL and NBA teams, including five season with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Prior to working for ESPN, Ben was also a professor of sports management at Menlo College in Menlo Park, California. Ben has published a great deal of research articles, author of Sports Analytics: A Guide for Managers, Coaches, and Other Decision Makers, and is also the founding editor of the Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sports.
