AMHERST, MA – Three Mammoths were named IWCLA All-Americans when the selections were announced today. Senior defender
Brynn Korpi (Rye Brook, N.Y.) earned an All-America Second Team nod, while sophomore midfielder
Mia Raven (Philadelphia, Pa.) and junior attack
Emily Petersen (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) were also named Second Team All-Americans.
Korpi was previously named USA Lacrosse All-America after being an Honorable Mention last year, and that step up was well earned. This is her first IWCLA All-America accolade. A fixture on the Mammoths' defense since her sophomore year, she had her best season to date in 2025. She notched 24 caused turnovers and picked up 33 ground balls this year, both career highs, while also scoring once. The Mammoths' captain was also named a USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American and First Team All-NESCAC selection earlier this year.
Petersen earns her first IWCLA All-America selection after a breakout junior season. She was previously named a USA Lacrosse All-America this year. The Amherst captain scored in every game this season, recording a team-high 47 goals, including three game winners, as well as nine assists. Her goal-scoring numbers were top-10 in the conference, but she is not just an offensive standout: she also placed third on the team with 51 draw controls this season. The All-America selection is the latest award for Petersen, as she was named a First Team All-NESCAC selection earlier this month.
Raven earns her first All-America award with her Honorable Mention selection this year. The 2024 NESCAC Rookie of the Year followed up a stellar first campaign with another great year, leading the team with 82 draw controls while also placing second on the squad in ground balls and caused turnovers with 25 and 19, respectively. She also earned a First Team All-NESCAC nod earlier this season.
Amherst finished the 2025 season at 11-6, their best record since 2019, and hosted a NESCAC Quarterfinal and NCAA Tournament game for the first time in six years..
