Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

#21 Conn. College edges #22 Mammoths with goal in closing minutes, 3-2

NEW LONDON, Conn. – A last-minute strike from Max Haberman put Connecticut College on top after a close game, where the first goal of five was scored in the 72nd minute of the game, and the Camels emerged with a 3-2 win over the Amherst College men's soccer team.

Connecticut College remains undefeated going into the weekend with a record of 7-0-2. The Mammoths fall to 7-2-1.

"It was an exciting last 20 minutes, that's for sure. We've got to do a better job at closing out games but credit to Conn for not giving up and making three plays." said head coach Justine Serpone. "This is a big weekend ahead of us, starting with Wesleyan on Saturday in what will sure to be a great atmosphere as it always is. We've just got to keep improving, one game at a time."

The defending NESCAC Champions will be back this weekend with two NESCAC games on the road, against Wesleyan (Saturday, Oct. 7th at 2:30pm) and Bowdoin (Sunday, Oct. 8th at 2:30pm).
