Box Score WATERVILLE, Maine – The No. 2 Amherst College men's soccer team used a pair of second half goals to secure a 2-0 victory over NESCAC foe Colby College Saturday afternoon at the Colby Soccer Field in Waterville, Maine.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Amherst held a 6-1 lead in shots during the first half, but Colby goalkeeper made five saves in the first 45 minutes of action as the sides went into intermission tied at 0-0.
- In the 72nd minute, Nico Pascual-Leone '16 netted his seventh goal of the season to give the Purple & White a 1-0 lead.
- At the 86:57 mark, Greg Singer '16 put the game out of reach with his fifth tally of the campaign to seal the 2-0 win for Amherst. Aidan Murray '18 provided the assist on the play.
- Goalkeeper Thomas Bull '16 made two saves to preserve his 10th shutout of the season.
- Pascual-Leone finished with six shots in the winning effort, followed by three from Christopher Martin '17, and two each from Singer and Milton Rico '16.
- Colby's Jansen Aoyama notched two of the Mules' four shots in the losing effort, while Pappas made two more saves in the second half to finish with seven for the contest.
