Men's Soccer Falls to Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY, Vermont -- In a battle of unbeatens, the Middlebury College Men's Soccer team improved their record to 8-0 as they downed the Lord Jeffs yesterday in Vermont. The game went back and forth in a hard fought scoreless tie through the 39th minute of the first half before Middlebury's Nathaniel Shaoff knocked in his first goal of his career. Following a direct kick from 30 yards away, the ball was headed out of the area by an Amherst defender before Shaoff one-timed a low line drive shot from 20 yards away for the game's first and game-winning goal.

The Jeffs hit the field again this Monday afternoon at home against M.I.T (3:00 pm).
