Chris Murphy '97 finished off the most beautiful play of the season with a goal against the Camels. Co-Captain Stephen Carr '97 bicycled a shot which rebounded off the cross-bar, denying Carr his first goal of the season. But Murphy stood waiting in the box to finish the play with his second goal of the season.

The Amherst offense petered out after this early goal. Withstanding 23 incessant Camel shots, Jeff goalie Kevin Larner added another 10 saves and another shutout to his credit.
