Tim Christian '98 slotted a penalty kick past Babson to seal a 1-0 win over the No. 5 team in New England. This is the second time in two weeks that Amherst has upset one of the top ranked teams in the region, the first one coming last week against then No. 2 Wheaton.

The Jeffs dominated the offense, led by the midfield play of Co-Captain Stephen Carr '97 and Brian Angelini '00E. Goalie Kevin Larner '99 posted six saves in his fourth shutout of the season.
