Amherst Golf Facilities

The Mammoths’ golf programs hone their skills across three different courses in the immediate area – the Amherst Golf Club located just off campus and the Orchards Golf Club and the Ledges Country Club both located in nearby South Hadley. Renovated in 2019, golfers also have access to an indoor training facility inside Alumni Gym that features a state-of-the-art golf simulator and putting greens.

A partial subsidy (approximately 40%) toward individual membership dues at the Amherst Golf Club, a corporation separate from Amherst College, is available to members of Amherst College, either presently employed or retired. This discount will only be applied to individual membership not family memberships. Visit the Amherst Golf Course website to join and complete an application form to receive the discount.

Discounted golf passes are made available to all Amherst College students during the fall and spring seasons. Student golf passes allow play Monday – Friday only. Visit the main office in the Alumni Gym to obtain a golf pass.
