Sophomore Andreas Sillaste led the Mammoths to the NCAA Tournament and earned All-America honors with his play during the month of May.

Sillaste went 5-2 overall in singles play during the month of May, winning his singles matches against both Wesleyan and Bowdoin in the NESCAC Tournament. In the NCAA Tournament, Sillaste won both his singles match and doubles match alongside Edred Opie in Amherst's first-round win over SUNYAC champion Oswego State.

His play throughout the season earned Sillaste an invitation to the NCAA Division III singles tournament, where he opened with an upset of seventh-seeded Alex Feies of Carnegie Mellon in the round of 32 to earn All-America honors for the second straight season. Sillaste then defeated Nicholas Chen of Williams in the round of 16 before falling in the quarterfinals to the eventual national champion.

An economics major from Oulu, Finland, Sillaste was named Division III Rookie of the Year last year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and is a two-time First Team All-NESCAC selection in both singles and doubles.
