Jeffs Blanked at St. Thomas

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Amherst women's hockey team followed a Tuesday afternoon tie at Hamline University with a 5-0 loss at the University of St. Thomas on Wednesday. The team will remain in Minnesota through Friday for a 5:05 p.m. tilt at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.

Tomery Stolz scored two goals and three assists and Tiffany Petermeier added two goals and one assist for St. Thomas. The Tommies (7-1-1), ranked eighth nationally by U.S. College Hockey Online, outshot the Lord Jeffs 60-4. Heidi Alexander stopped 55 shots in goal for Amherst.
