Jeffs Fall at Holy Cross, 5-2, Despite White's Two Goals

WORCESTER, MA - Holy Cross snapped a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over the visiting Amherst women's hockey team on Wednesday night. Junior forward Ali White (Brookline, MA) scored both goals for the Lord Jeffs. The first gave Amherst an early 1-0 lead, while the second knotted the score at 2-2.

Rookie forward Kathleen Remsbert (Arlington, MA) paced Holy Cross, which improved to 9-5-1 overall, with a pair of goals and two assists. Amherst dropped to 1-11-3 with its fifth straight loss.

Amherst returns to action Friday at 7:30 p.m. at NESCAC foe Trinity College.
