HADLEY, Mass. – Three members of the Amherst College women's soccer team were accorded All-NESCAC honors, it was announced by the conference today.

Senior defender Ella Johnson (Seattle, WA) was awarded First Team All-NESCAC selection while senior midfielder Brooke Ingemi (Plymouth, MA) and first-year forward Emma Darling (Weston, MA) were accorded 2nd Team All-NESCAC honors.

Last year, Johnson was awarded 2nd Team All-NESCAC honors. She has been a key part of the Mammoths defense this season, known for her exceptional defensive skills and composure. She has one assist this season and has two goals and eight assists in her career to date. In 2024, Johnson was named Third Team USC All-Region 1 selection.

This is the first NESCAC honor for Imgemi. Her dynamic play in the midfield lends itself to both the offensive and defensive efforts of the Mammoths. She has four goals and one assist this season, and two of her goals were game-winners this season. To date in her career, Ingemi has amassed 11 goals and 8 assists for 31 points.

This was also the first NESCAC honor for Darling. She hit the ground running in her initial campaign with Amherst, scoring a team-leading six goals and adding two assists, for a total of 16 points. Along with Ingemi, two of her goals were game-winners this season. Darling is currently the leading scorer for the Mammoths.

"It is always such an honor for our players to be recognized," Amherst coach Jen Hughes noted. "Everyone on this team works hard day in and day out to push each other to be their best. This recognition of LJ, Brooke, and Emma is a testament to that."

Amherst is headed to Messiah University to take on SUNY-Cortland Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA Div. III Tournament.

"I am excited for this weekend," Hughes said. "We are well rested and hungry to make a run in the NCAAs after bowing out early in NESCACs. Cortland is a very strong side so we will have to bring our best, but we're excited to be heading back to Messiah and the Falcon Hut."
