CLINTON, N.Y. -- Amherst College earned a 3-0 victory over Hamilton College in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's volleyball action on Friday evening at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.
With the win, Amherst improves to 18-5 overall and 6-3 in the NESCAC and keeps their hopes alive for a top-four seed in next weekend's conference tournament.
The Mammoths won the first set 25-21, and then needed extra points to earn a 26-24 win in the second set. They closed out the victory wit ha 25-22 win in the third.
Emily Kolsky '20 led the way with 11 kills and 10 digs, as well as a pair of service aces. Sophie Launsbach '22 added nine kills and six digs, while Claire Dennis '20 had five kills, two block assists and two solo blocks.
Jamie Dailey '21 and Cam Hendricks '20 added three kills apiece. Charlotte Duran '20 (15 assists) and Jacqueline Kortekaas '23 (12 assists) led the offense, while Skyleur Savage '22 had a team-high 17 digs.
Amherst finishes their regular season tomorrow when they travel to Williams for a 1:00 PM game.
