Undefeated Jeffs Sweep Keene State, 3-0

KEENE, NH - Led by senior Annie Hoeksma's (Los Angeles, CA) 35 assists and sophomore Kristen Quinn's (Los Angeles, CA) 13 kills, the Amherst College women's volleyball team remained undefeated at 5-0, downing non-conference host Keene State (1-1) in three games, 30-23, 30-15, 30-26, on Wednesday night.

Quinn, who earned MVP honors at last weekend's WNEC Invitational and currently leads the nation with a .547 hitting percentage, also posted five solo blocks, while junior Kate Raddock (Stamford, CT) and first-year Jaclyn DeMais (Hillsdale, NJ) tallied seven and 12 digs, respectively; each also had nine kills. Junior Sara Bruggeman (Boulder, CO) added three kills and three solo blocks, senior Nikki Davidson (Los Angeles, CA) had six kills and first-year Julie Berkley (Fullerton, CA) contributed eight digs.

Amherst looks to keep its winning streak alive at this weekend's NESCAC Quad, hosted by Tufts University.
