    The Amherst College women's indoor track & field team wrapped up regular season competition Saturday, putting together a strong showing at the Brown Invitational at the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center.

    Moving the season total to three, two more records fell this weekend at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University as the sophomore 4x400 relay quartet of Anna Madden, Katie Lingen, Sam Tichelaar, and Juanita Jaramillo and junior 60m hurdler Ella Rossa rewrote the Amherst College women’s indoor track & field all-time leaderboard with showstopping performances.

    With only two weekends to go until the New England Division III Indoor Championships, the Amherst College track & field teams continued to add to their winter haul with a new program record and 24 new collegiate bests between their efforts at BU's Cupid Challenge and Utica's Blue & Orange Invitational. The Mammoths will head into the David Hemery Valentine Invitational this weekend with the men's program owning a No. 27 national ranking and No. 3 ranking in New England and the women's team ranking No. 8 in the New England region.

    Junior Ella Rossa broke her own school record in the 60m hurdles to establish a new program benchmark of 8.88 seconds as the Amherst College women’s track & field team used the Upstate Challenge at Cornell University to set eight new personal bests Friday and Saturday.

    Clinching second place overall, the Amherst College women's track & field team registered first place finishes in the 60-meter hurdle, 400 meter run and triple jump to amass 116 points at the season opening Little Three Championships hosted by Wesleyan University.
