|Hometown:||New York, N.Y.|
|High School:||Horace Mann School|
I was born in New York City. I went to Horace Mann School in the Bronx. My parents are Dr. Dan Friedman and Dr. Donna Friedman who both work in the Bronx in oncology and psychology respectively.
I am not sure what my major(s) will be, but my areas of interest are Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought (LJST) as well as Spanish.
As for academic accolades, I received a grant for the Robert Moses prize at my school for my work in social justice, specifically my research on discrimination within the criminal justice system. In addition, I received honors in Spanish. For my accomplishments in track in high school, I was 2-time MVP for the women’s team and a captain my junior and senior year.
In indoor track, I was named a member of the All-League 1st Team of the Ivy Preparatory School League. In the Spring 2016 season, I came in 4th in the 100m dash and 5th in the 200m dash in the Ivy League Championship meet. In the Spring 2017 season, I came in 7th in the 200m dash in the NYSAIS Championship meet.
