CANTON, N.Y. - On the final day of the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, sophomore Kiana Herold represented the Amherst College women's track & field team as she competed in the high jump Saturday at St. Lawrence University.
Herold finished 16th overall in the event with a leap of 1.63 meters. The sophomore has enjoyed a stellar career in just two seasons donning the Purple & White and has qualified for all four track & field championships (two indoors, two outdoors) since joining the program. She was the lone Jeff to compete Saturday, as classmate Karen Blake competed in the 200- and 100-meter dashes Thursday and Friday, respectively.
Wisconsin-La Crosse won the national championship with 73 points, while Wisconsin-Eau Claire took second with 43 and Washington University placed third with 39 points.
