  • Amherst Secures Eighth Place Showing in Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup

    CLEVELAND, Ohio. – For the 13th consecutive season, Amherst College has placed in the top-ten in the country when the final results of the IMG Learfield College Directors’ Cup were announced Wednesday. The Mammoths took eighth place out of 338 Division III schools in the annual competition, which ranks schools who have reached the national level of competition in each NCAA sport.

    HADLEY, Mass. – Jackie Bukzin ’22 was named the 2019 NESCAC Rookie of the Year while teammates Kelsey Chen ’19 and Camille Smukler ’20 earned Second Team All-NESCAC for doubles and singles competition, respectively, as announced by the league office Friday morning. All three members of the Amherst women’s tennis team also received selection into the NCAA Individuals Championship.
