MIDDLETOWN, CT – The Amherst College women's tennis team opened its conference schedule with a 9-0 win at Wesleyan University to move to 7-0 overall and 1-0 in the NESCAC.  played a tough schedule on the west coast but returned to New England with a perfect 7-0 record, and the Lord Jeffs picked up right where they left off. In the third doubles match, senior captain Jennifer Murphy (Simsbury, CT) teamed up with junior Anuja Ankola (Scarsdale, NY) to keep her perfect doubles season alive with an 8-4 win. Sophomore Jill Wexler (Beverly, MA) and first-year Natasha Brown (Woodland Hills, CA) pulled out an 8-6 win in the second doubles match, while sophomore Brittany Berckes (Secaucus, NJ) and senior Alicia Menezes (Staten Island, NY) earned an 8-3 victory in the top spot.
