Third-Ranked Women's Tennis Tops Middlebury, 6-3

MIDDLEBURY, VT – The third-ranked Amherst College women's tennis team earned their second straight victory over a ranked NESCAC foe, downing No. 9 Middlebury College, 6-3, on Sunday afternoon. The Jeffs improve to 7-2, while the Panthers fall to 7-5.

Senior co-captains Kristen Raverta (W. Springfield, MA) and Hadley Miller (N. Canton, OH) and sophomore Alicia Menezes (Staten Island, NY) each posted two wins on the day, defeating their respective singles opponents in straight sets, and picking up convincing doubles wins as well.

Amherst hosts conference rival No. 27 Tufts University on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
