Weekly Wrap 2: Women's Tennis Sweeps Two

Playing a pair of matches last Saturday, women's tennis registered 9-0 sweeps of Brandeis and MIT. Junior Neely Steinberg (Concord, MA) registered two 6-0, 6-0 wins to remain undefeated at No. 3 singles, while rookie Jamie Cohen (Rye, NY) did likewise at No. 1. Steinberg and partner Pam Diamond (Trumbull, CT) boast a 5-0 record after finishing the fall 14-3 as three-time New England Doubles Champions. Facing MIT, the team dropped a total of seven games in six singles and three doubles flights to the Engineers as senior captain Sally Childs (Rye, NY) blanked both her singles and doubles opponent.
