Weekly Wrap 1: Women's Tennis Brings 2-1 Record Back From California

Coming off its third straight New England Championship fall, women's tennis began its spring season with a 2-1 record in California. The Jeffs rolled to an 8-1 win at Pomona before being edged out 5-4 at Claremont. Closing out the trip with a 7-2 win against the University of the South, Neely Steinberg (Concord, MA) posted a perfect 3-0 record in both singles and doubles with fellow junior Pam Diamond (Trumbull, CT), while rookie Jamie Cohen (Rye, NY) also is undefeated in singles.
