    The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its Scholar All-America teams earlier this month, with 12 Amherst College swimming & diving student-athletes earning the national honor.

    AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst College athletic department has completed another outstanding season, finishing 9th in the nation in the final Division III Learfield Directors’ Cup standings, which ranks schools who have reached the national level of competition in each NCAA sport.

    The Mammoths added two more top-10 finishes on day three of the 2018 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the IU Natatorium, as No. 15 Amherst College women's swimming & diving remain in ninth overall with 98 points with one day remaining at the national meet.

    Returning a solid core, the 2017-2018 Amherst College women's swimming & diving team will once again look to record another successful season behind head coach Nick Nichols who enters his 20th season at the helm of the program. Finishing last winter 7-1 in dual-meet action, the Mammoths aim to build on the successes of last year’s squad that secured second overall at the NESCAC Championships and 15th overall at the NCAA Division III Championship.
