SHENANDOAH, Texas – Seven members of the Amherst College women's swimming & diving team earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-American honors following the squad's 15th place performance at the NCAA Division III Championships.

The CSCAA named 133 women and 140 men to its Division III All-America Team, with an additional 159 student-athletes garnering Honorable Mention (Second Team) All-American recognition. The top-eight individuals and relay members in each of the 39 women's events earned First-Team recognition, while those finishing ninth-16th are named an Honorable Mention All-American.

Bridgitte Kwong '19 is the lone Amherst student-athlete to land on the All-America First Team in an individual event, touching the all in 4:21.77 to placed third overall and earn the national accolade.

On day two of the NCAA's the 400-yard medley relay quartet of Stephanie Moriarty '18, Ingrid Shu '20, Geralyn Lam '18 and Natalie Rumpelt '20 secured First Team praise with a seventh place finish behind a time of 3:47.08, while the 800-yard freestyle relay team of Kwong, Moriarty, Jayne Vogelzang '19 and Rumpelt clocked a time of 7:31.65 to place fifth overall and round out Amherst's First Team All-America recipients.

The Purple & White finished inside the top-16 to secure Honorable Mention praise in four more events during the national meet, including two individual and two relay events.

Taking the block in the 100-yard butterfly, Lam finished in 15th with a time of 56.06 seconds, while Moriarty captured the honor following a 12th place finish (2:01.86) in the 200-yard backstroke on the final day of competition.

Moriarty, Shu, Lam and Destin Groff '17 took 13th in the 200-yard medley relay with a mark of 1:44.15, while Lam, Rumpelt, Moriarty and Shu clinched Amherst's final top performance, notching a 12th place finish with a time of 3:26.05 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
