MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Amherst College women's swimming & diving team is in second place with 512 points following day one action at the NESCAC Championships hosted by Middlebury College at the Middlebury Natatorium.

  • Sarah Conklin '16 continued to excel at the NESCAC Championship in the 50-yard butterfly picking up another title in the event. Conklin powered to a pool record time of 24.71.
  • In the 200-yard individual medley, Emily Hyde '16 glided to a new NESCAC meet and Middlebury pool record of 2:00.60, narrowly missing the NCAA 'A' Cut mark of 2:00.51.
  • The 400-yard medley relay tandem of Stephanie Moriarty '18, Hannah Hummel '16, Zoe Pappas '19, and Conklin clocked a second place and NCAA 'B' Cut time of 3:44.49.
  • Moriarty added a third place finish in the 50-yard backstroke with a mark of 26.78.
