SHENANDOAH, Texas – The Amherst College women's swimming & diving team earned a sixth place finish at the 2015 NCAA Division III Championships at the Conroe ISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas.
Amherst finished with 173 total points and was the second highest scoring NESCAC school at the four-day championship. Emory won the NCAA title with 603 points, followed by Denison (457.50), Williams (434), Kenyon (404) and Johns Hopkins (250) to round out the top five in the field of 46 teams.
In the 200-yard breaststroke, Emily Hyde '16 glided to a third place finish with a time of 2:15.96. The 400-yard freestyle relay quartet of Ashleigh Stoddart '15, Stephanie Ternullo '15, Sarah Conklin '16 and Hyde finished eighth with a time of 3:28.23.
