  • Amherst Secures Eighth Place Showing in Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup

    CLEVELAND, Ohio. – For the 13th consecutive season, Amherst College has placed in the top-ten in the country when the final results of the IMG Learfield College Directors’ Cup were announced Wednesday. The Mammoths took eighth place out of 338 Division III schools in the annual competition, which ranks schools who have reached the national level of competition in each NCAA sport. 
  • Amherst Places 111 Student-Athletes on All-Academic Team, Eight Named All-Sportsmanship Selections

    HADLEY, Mass. - Last Friday, 111 Amherst College student-athletes were named to the 2019 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Winter All-Academic team for their success in the classroom, while eight Mammoths were named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

    AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst women’s squash team sent student-athletes Lilly Soroko ’22 and Keeley Osborn ’22 to compete in the CSA Individual Nationals over the weekend in Providence, Rhode Island where the Mammoths fell in their opening matches in the main draw and consolation brackets to conclude their 2018-19 campaign.

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Amherst women’s squash team faced off against Williams and Wesleyan in the Little Three Championships Saturday afternoon, receiving a split decision when they defeated Wesleyan 7-2 in their first match before falling to Williams 9-0 in their second at The Simon Squash Center.

    AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst men's and women's squash teams swept the first three sets against  Hamilton College in all but one match combined on day two of the Pioneer Valley Invitational, blanking the Continentals 9-0 respectively Saturday afternoon at Davenport Squash Courts.
