McAtee Closes Out Amherst Career at CSA Nationals

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- All-Conference selection Haley McAtee '18 represented Amherst College for the final time at the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships this weekend at George Washington University.

McAtee played in two matches, bowing out in the first consolation round. She drew a tough opponent in the opening round, facing off against Zoe Foo Yuk Han of the host Colonials. Han got the better of her with an 11-3, 11-3, 11-5 victory.

In the consolation bracket, McAtee fell to Lindsay Stanley of Penn University by an 11-7, 11-9, 11-2 count. 

Featuring at the top of the lineup for most of the year, McAtee collected seven individual match wins this year, including victories at the number one position over Hamilton, St. Lawrence and Dickinson. McAtee also shifted to the three and four positions, where she won three of her four matches.
