Amherst Garners WCSA Scholar Athlete Awards


NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Amherst College women's squash team had four players named 2014-15 Scholar Athletes by the Women's College Squash Association (WCSA) as recently announced by the organization.

Khushy Aggarwal '16, Taryn Clary '16, Corri Johnson '16 and Arielle Lehman '15 were each recognized for the award.

To receive this honor players must be a two-time varsity letter winner at their current institution; have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above; be a junior or senior in academic standing; and have played a top 10 ladder position for the majority of scheduled CSA sanctioned matches during the season.

The quartet joined nine other players from the NESCAC, and joined Wesleyan University with a conference-high four selections. Middlebury College added two representatives, while Bowdoin College, Colby College and Connecticut College each had one selection.
