Jeffs Best Mount Holyoke, 8-1

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - The 17th-ranked Amherst College women's squash team posted an 8-1 victory over No. 26 Mount Holyoke College on Wednesday evening at the Mount Holyoke College Squash Courts.

With the win, Amherst improves to 8-5 on the season, while Mount Holyoke moves to 4-14 overall.

Amherst posted 3-0 sweeps on seven of the nine courts in Wednesday's matchup, including courts 1-4, as Kim Krayacich '18, Haley McAtee '18, Taryn Clary '16 and Meya Sud '16 each posted wins. Khushy Aggarwal '16 went four sets with Mount Holyoke's Xianger Fei, and despite fending off the sweep with an 11-3 set three victory, fell, 11-9 in the fourth frame.

Mae Cromwell '18, Rebecca Pol '16 and Martha Reiser '15 then added 3-0 sweeps from the No. 6, No. 8 and No. 9 courts respectively, while Izzy Derber '17 dispatched her Lyons' opponent in four sets.  

Amherst returns to action at the NESCAC Championships on Friday-Sunday, Feb. 6-8.
