Jeffs Earn Three 9-0 Wins on Day 2 of Invitational

AMHERST, Mass. – The Amherst College women's squash team moved to 6-6 on the season with three convincing wins Saturday afternoon on the second day of the Pioneer Valley Invitational.

The 15th-ranked Lord Jeffs began the invitational Friday night with a 6-3 loss to Hamilton, but they put a stop to a five-match skid with 9-0 wins against No. 15 Wellesley, No. 21 Tufts and No. 23 Connecticut College. Amherst will close its weekend by hosting Colby Sunday at 9 a.m.

Eight of Amherst's points against Wellesley came in 3-0 fashion, as the Jeffs controlled the match from top to bottom.
