  • Three Lord Jeffs Named to All-NESCAC Second Team

    Three Amherst College squash players were honored when the NESCAC announced its 2011 All-Conference selections today. Hayley Milbourn ’11 (Baltimore, MD) and Evelyn Kramer ’14 (Brooklyn, NY) were named to the women’s Second Team, while Andrew Kriete ’11 (Chatham, NJ) represented the Lord Jeffs on the men’s Second Team.

The men’s team topped Hobart 9-0 before falling to F&M 9-0, while the Amherst women beat F&M 9-0 in their only match of the day.

    The 14th-ranked Amherst College women’s squash team remained unbeaten on the young season with an 8-1 win over 29th-ranked Smith College Wednesday afternoon at Davenport Courts. Tonight’s result marked the seventh consecutive home victory for the Lord Jeffs, who have not lost on their home courts since Jan. 17, 2010.
