Squash Serves Up More Wins

Men's and women's squash continues their well established success on both the individual and team levels. No. 1 David McNeely '00 (Newton Square, PA)played in a pro-tournament for the experience and was expected to win, despite his two-match collegiate experience. For the women, Co-Captain Harriet Ells '97 (Brooklyn, NY) and Rachel Nisselson '00 (Brooklyn, NY) received invitations to the Betty Constable Tournament, held for the top women's squash players in the nation. Seeded fourth, Ells posted a 3-1 record and third place finish in the tournament.

Both teams handily defeated Cornell before the women travelled to Maine for three close matches in the Bowdoin Invitational. Without Page Callaghan '99 (Strafford, PA) and Nisselson on the trip, the women defeated both Bates and Colby, but suffered their first loss 6-3 to Bowdoin.
