Hired in the summer of 2018, Paige Moriarty enters her first season on the sidelines of the Amherst women's lacrosse program as an assistant coach.
Moriarty comes to Amherst with a wealth of playing and coaching experience, and most recently worked with Metro Lacrosse in where she served as a coach for two seasons. Her responsibilities there included running weekly practices for high school-aged girls club lacrosse teams. She also coached individual teams at weekend recruiting tournaments.
A 2018 graduate of Franklin & Marshall with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies, Moriarty is a three-time First Team IWLCA All-American and the 2016 and 2018 IWLCA Division III Attacker of Year. Earning All-Conference and All-Region selections in every season during her exceptional four-year career as a Diplomat, Moriarty amassed 393 total points (230g, 163a) to lead her team to four NCAA Championship appearances, including two Final Four runs.
“She brings to us a wealth of knowledge and skill,” said Mammoths’ head coach Christine Paradis. “I am excited for her to help our attack be even more dynamic both individually and as a unit”.
Out of season, you can find Paige coordinating all recruiting correspondence and on the road evaluating talent in the 2020 and 2021 recruiting classes.
