AMHERST, Mass. - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team earned distinction as one of 125 Division III programs honored by the IWLCA as an All-Academic Honor Squad, with Fiona Dearth '15, Caroline Holliday '14, Meghan Mills '15, Annelies O'Dea '14 and Priscilla Tyler '15 each earning a spot on the Academic Honor Roll.

Schools with a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 were named Academic Squads, while Honor Roll honorees were nominated by their respective schools and must have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater and at least junior status academically.

All 11 NESCAC schools were honored by the IWLCA as Wesleyan led the way with eight academic honor roll selections followed by Williams with seven and Amherst with five.

Honoring 363 players from 126 institutions, Dearth, Holliday, Mills, O'Dea and Tyler were five of just 38 NESCAC student-athletes to garner praise. Mills also earned recognition earlier this year for her play on the field and was named an IWLCA All-Berkshire Region Second Team selection.
