NESCAC RELEASE

HADLEY, Mass. – First-year forward Carley Daly of the Amherst College women's hockey team has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Week following clutch play on the ice.

Leading the charge in a 1-0-1 weekend against Trinity, Daly netted three of the Mammoths' seven goals in the series - matching the Bantam' offensive effort herself with two goals in the second period to force a 2-2 overtime draw in game one before adding a short-handed score that stood as the game-winner and an assist in a 5-2 victory on Saturday.

With a team-leading eight goals this winter to go along with six helpers, the Allston, Mass. native ranks tied for second on the team in points with 14 and 11th in the conference in points per game (0.76).

Daly and the Mammoths return to action this Friday, Jan. 31 when they host Little III foe Wesleyan University for a 7:00PM battle.
