Flynn's Seven Point Week Lands NESCAC Honors

NESCAC RELEASE

HADLEY, Mass. – Sophomore forward Emma Flynn of the Amherst College women's hockey team has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week for her stellar efforts on the ice this past weekend.

Leading the offensive attack in Amherst's weekend sweep of previously undefeated William Smith, Flynn had a hand in seven of the Mammoths' eight goals in the 2-0 week. In addition to finding the back of the net in each contest, the Wolcott, Conn. native also added two helpers in game one and three more in game two, including the game-winning assists in both matchups, to total seven points in the two game span.

With eight assists and 10 points on the season, she currently leads the Mammoths in both categories.

Flynn and the rest of the Mammoths return to action on Friday, Jan. 4 when they travel to Middlebury for a 7 p.m. battle.
