Women’s Golf Sits in Fourth after Day One Williams Fall Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Amherst Women's Golf finished day one of the Williams College Fall Invitational sitting in fourth place with a combined score of 323 on Saturday afternoon at Taconic Golf Club.

Amherst sits one stroke behind Middlebury College who is in third place, and only eight strokes behind Williams College who are the current leaders of the tournament after day one with a combined score of 315. The Mammoths have a six stroke lead on Wellesley College who are right behind them in fifth place.

Isabelle Ouyang '21 led the Mammoths as she shot 78 on the day (+7) which tied her for fourth place. Morgan Yurosek '20 sat two strokes behind her as she finished with an 80 through the first 18 holes. India Gaume '22 was only one stroke off of Yurosek as she carded an 81 which tied her for 16th place. The last Mammoth to contribute was Jessica Jeong '20 who finished +13 with a score of 84.
