Women's Golf Takes Fourth at Williams Invite

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Amherst College women's golf finished off their 2018 regular season with a fourth place finish that the 2018 Williams College Invitational.

The Mammoths sat in second place after Day 1 by shooting 320, but slipped to fourth behind host Williams, who shot matching 301's on each day.

The Ephs wont the tournament by 33 strokes over Carnegie Mellon, with Middlebury College taking third.

Morgan Yurosek was the top scorer for Amherst, finishing tied for 13th. Yurosek followed a 79 on Day 1 with an 82 for a 161 finish.

Isabelle Ouyang and Emily Young both finished tied for 18th place with 163 finishes. Ouyang went 80-83 while Young shot a 78 on Day 1 and an 85 on Sunday.

Kate Weiss tied for 26th (83-84-167), while Zoe Wong finished out the scoring for Amherst with a 173 (88-85), good for 32nd place.
