AMHERST, Mass. - Jamie Gracie '17 finished third overall at the Jack Leaman Invitational Saturday with a score of 77 to highlight the day for the Amherst College women's golf team.
The Jeffs finished sixth overall in the 10-team field with a team score of 333. Ithaca College won the one-day tournament by edging Middlebury College and Williams College with a score of 324. The Panthers and Ephs tied for second (325), while New York University and Mount Holyoke finished fourth (330) and fifth (332), respectively, to round out the top five.
Gracie finished three-over par to earn third overall in the 65-player field. She was edged by Jordan Glatt of Middlebury and Sophie Kitchen of Williams. Glatt scored a 74, while Kitchen registered a 75.
Katherine Britt '15 and Devyn Gardner '16 finished second for the Jeffs and tied for 10th overall in the tournament with a score of 82, while Jenny Xu '16 and Zoe Wong '18 scored an 86 and 88, respectively.
The Jeffs return to the course next weekend for the two-day Williams Spring Invitational slated for Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26.
