MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Amherst's Jamie Gracie '17 finished fourth overall in the field of 57 golfers as the Jeffs notched third place at the Middlebury women's golf invitational at Ralph Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury, Vt.
Williams won the overall team event with a two-day score of 619, led by individual medalist Sarah Hasselman who carded rounds of 72 and 78 (150). Teammates Tracey Kim (75-77-152) and Elizabeth Gudas (78-75-153) finished second and third as the Ephs finished with a 41 stroke lead.
Host Middlebury totaled a two-day score of 660 to finish second, while Amherst registered a combined score of 672 to capture third place honors to round out the top three in the 11-team field.
Gracie finished recorded back-to-back scores of 78 for a 156 total en route to her fourth place finish. Zoe Wong '18 added a pair of 84s (168) and finished second for the Jeffs, while CJ Bernstein '15 tabbed an 86 and an 87 (173) as the Purple & White's third best finisher.
Amherst is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4-5 at the Williams Fall Classic.
