Women's Golf Finishes Sixth at Northeast Championship

AMHERST, MA - The Amherst College women's golf team shot a total of 346, good for sixth place at the Northeast Championship at Hickory Ridge that was called off after one round of play due to inclement weather. Princeton University took home the title with a score of 317, while the runner-up was Brown University, recording 328. 

Jeff sophomore Kathryn Kuchefski (Wellesley, MA) tied for 12th place, shooting an 83 (+11). First-year Emily Foran (Dallas, PA) followed her teammate up to finish in a tie for 17th place with an 84 (+13). Princeton's Vanessa Redman notched the top spot, firing a score of 77, while the runner-up, Hartford's Kristy Finlayson finished with just one stroke behind with a 78.
