    The Amherst College men's indoor track & field team saw success in their final weekend before the postseason as the Mammoths traveled to Rhode Island to compete at the Brown Invitational Saturday at the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center.

    Joining Nehemiah McGowan ’21 (60m) and Troy Colleran ’22 (heptathlon) as 2020 record breakers, sophomore sprinter Henry Buren headlined the Amherst College men’s indoor track & field team at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University Saturday as he stopped the clock in 21.92 in the 200m to lower the school benchmark in the event.

    With only two weekends to go until the New England Division III Indoor Championships, the Amherst College track & field teams continued to add to their winter haul with a new program record and 24 new collegiate bests between their efforts at BU's Cupid Challenge and Utica's Blue & Orange Invitational. The Mammoths will head to the David Hemery Valentine Invitational this weekend with the men's program owning a No. 27 national ranking and No. 3 ranking in New England and the women's team ranking No. 8 in the New England region.

    For the second straight week Henry Buren clocked a new program best in the 60-meter dash to rewrite the record book as the Amherst College men's track & field team continued to make waves in the national conversation at the non-scoring Mary Grinaker Invitational hosted by Smith College.
  • LITTLE THREE CHAMPS! Mammoths Clinch First-Ever Little 3 Crown

    Clinching the Little Three Championship title for the first time in program history, the Amherst College men's track & field team captured nine event victories, including a sweep of the top-three spots in the 60-meter sprint and a win in the final event of the day to solidify the crown, as the Mammoths edged Williams and Wesleyan Saturday afternoon in their season opening meet.
