LA CROSSE, Wisc. – Clark Ricciardelli '20, Kristian Sogaard '19 and Cosmo Brossy '19 each recorded a top-10 finish at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships to wrap up the Amherst College men's track & field season in impressive fashion at the Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The No. 11 seed (30:14.33) in the 10,000 meter race entering the weekend, Clark Ricciardelli '20 earned All-American honors in the 20 harrier event, clocking a time of 31:06.21 to place eighth overall.
- Crossing the finish line in 1:51.70 in the 800 meter preliminaries on Friday, Kristian Sogaard '19 finished as the 10th fastest runner in Division III to just narrowly miss claiming a spot in the national finals.
- Entering the weekend as the No. 17 seed, Cosmo Brossy '19 clocked a time of 15.04.44 in the 5,000 meter race to improve on his seed mark and secure 10th place.
