Revzin, Solimano Compete at USTA/ITA National Small College Championships

SUMTER, S.C. – Amherst College senior doubles tandem Aaron Revzin and Michael Solimano competed at the USTA/ITA National Small College championships at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C. Thursday and Friday, Oct. 15-16.

DOUBLES HIGHLIGHTS

  • Seeded first in the field of eight doubles teams, Revzin and Solimano fell to Adam Krull and Matt Tyler of Trinity (Texas), 6-4, 6-3 in its first match on Thursday.
  • In their second match on Thursday, Revzin and Solimano posted a 5-7, 6-3, 10-5 victory over Kyle Richter and Adrian Sirovica of UC-Santa Cruz.
  • On Friday, the duo earned a fifth place finish when it defeated second-seeded Emerson Walsh and Mike Buxbaum of Johns Hopkins by scores of 6-4, 3-6, 10-4.
